Everything you need to know about ZooYak, pricing, trials, and getting started.
ZooYak replaces spreadsheets, paper logs, and fragmented tools with one platform purpose-built for security guard companies. Guard management, shift scheduling, real-time patrol tracking, incident reporting, time and attendance, and a client portal — all in one system.
Yes. Every plan includes a 14-day risk-free trial. If you cancel within 14 days, you will not be charged. A credit card is required to start your trial.
Managers run operations from any web browser. Guards work from our native iOS and Android app. Clients access their portal from anywhere. One system, every device.
Yes. Import your guard profiles, sites, and schedules via CSV. Most teams are fully migrated within a day. No data loss, no extra cost.
Pricing is per guard-hour, based on the plan you choose. You only pay for hours worked. No setup fees, no hidden costs, and you can change plans at any time. Billing cycles are 28 days (4 weeks).
Yes. Your data is encrypted at rest and in transit, stored exclusively in Australian data centres (Sydney), and backed up daily. Role-based access control, full audit logging, and SOC 2 compliance practices protect every record.
Yes. We integrate with Xero, MYOB, KeyPay for payroll and accounting. We also provide a REST API and webhooks for custom integrations on Professional and Enterprise plans.
All plans include email support. Professional plans get priority response times. Enterprise plans include a dedicated account manager who knows your operation.
Every guard action — check-ins, patrols, incidents, time adjustments — is logged with a timestamp, GPS coordinates, and user ID. Export full audit trails for regulatory reviews, insurance claims, or client reporting. No manual spreadsheets required.
Yes. ZooYak complies with the Privacy Act 1988 and Australian Privacy Principles (APPs). All data is stored in Australian data centres (Sydney). We also meet GDPR requirements for organisations with international operations.
Yes. The ZooYak guard app caches data locally and syncs automatically when connectivity returns. Guards can complete patrols, log incidents, and scan checkpoints via NFC or QR codes even without internet access.
Guards can trigger an SOS alert from the mobile app, which instantly shares their GPS location with designated managers and emergency contacts. All SOS events are logged with full audit trail including response times and resolution actions.
You are live in 1-2 days. Import your roster and sites via CSV, configure your patrol routes, and your team is ready. No IT department needed, no on-premise servers, no week-long training programmes.
No — ZooYak is a workforce management platform, not an access control system. However, it integrates with existing access control via REST APIs and webhooks. ZooYak manages your people; your access control manages your doors.
If you are using spreadsheets, paper logs, WhatsApp groups, or a mix of disconnected tools — ZooYak replaces all of them. One platform, purpose-built for security operations. If you are on legacy guard management software, ZooYak is the upgrade: cloud-native, mobile-first, and built in Australia for Australian compliance requirements.
Most guard management tools were built a decade ago and bolt on features as afterthoughts. ZooYak was designed from day one as a complete security operations platform — rostering, patrols, incidents, compliance, client portal, and billing in one system. No integrations to maintain, no data silos, no per-module pricing surprises.
Every plan includes a 14-day risk-free trial. A credit card is required to start, but if you cancel within 14 days you will not be charged. This lets you explore the full platform with your real data before committing.
ZooYak uses 28-day (4-week) billing cycles instead of calendar months. This means 13 cycles per year, with each cycle covering exactly 4 weeks. It keeps billing predictable and aligned with typical shift rotations.
All data is stored in secure Australian data centres with encryption at rest and in transit. We run automated daily backups with point-in-time recovery, and strict multi-tenant data isolation ensures your information is never mixed with another organisation's.
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time from the billing settings in your dashboard. Both take effect immediately with pro-rated billing, so you only pay for what you actually use in each cycle.
Yes. Every new account includes onboarding assistance at no extra cost. We help you import your existing data, configure sites and guards, and get your team up and running. Professional and Enterprise plans include priority onboarding.
Commitment plans let you lock in a lower per-hour rate by committing to a minimum number of guard-hours per site per billing cycle. 1-year commitments save 10%, 2-year saves 15%, and 3-year saves 30%. Commitments are per-site, so you can commit on busy sites while keeping quieter ones on-demand. You pay the committed amount each 28-day cycle even if actual usage is lower — overage hours above your commitment are billed at the standard on-demand rate. A 20% deposit of the total contract value is required at signing. Early termination incurs a fee of 20% of the total agreement value or the remaining balance, whichever is less.
